Patrick attended The University of Akron where he studied to become an actuary and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics in 1987. Thereafter, for over 15 years, Pat worked as an actuary and a manager for Mercer Consulting, Leader National and Progressive Insurance Co. solving complex problems for the insurance industry.
In 2003, Patrick joined the family business, Seaman Retirement Planning. His goal was to continue his father’s legacy of family values and commitment to this community. To this day, Patrick and his brother Jim, continue to focus on the values that helped build SRP so many years ago.
When Patrick isn’t helping clients, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Edy and their four children, Abram, Logan, Noah and Hahna Li. Three of his children live in Brooklyn, NY with their families where Patrick & Edy often visit to spend time with their grandson. They also enjoy vacationing as a family so they try to book those as often as time allows with so many family members. Patrick is also an avid reader and enjoys a variety of genres including fantasy novels and the classics.
Patrick is an Investment Advisor Representative through AlphaStar Capital Management, as well as licensed by the state of Ohio for Life, Accident and Health, and P&C.
