After graduating from Kent State University in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in business management – Marketing, Ben joined the family business with a strong desire to continue the legacy started by his grandfather, Tom Seaman, and carried on by his father, Jim, and uncle, Pat. From early on, he knew he wanted a career that would allow him to genuinely connect with people and make a meaningful difference in their lives — goals he now fulfills every day as an independent investment advisor.
As part of the team at Seaman Retirement Planning, Ben provides personalized investment strategies and retirement planning for a broad range of clients — from individuals and families to business owners and professionals. He takes pride in helping each client build a secure financial future, with special attention to long-term goals, risk tolerance, and lifestyle needs. In addition to his work as an Investment Advisor Representative through AlphaStar Capital Management, he is also licensed by the state of Ohio for Life, Accident, and Health, and holds a National Social Security Advisor (NSSA) certification, allowing him to offer in-depth Social Security planning.
Outside of the office, Ben enjoys spending time with his wife, Rene, and their two cats, Frankie and Holly. He’s a passionate sports fan and never misses a Notre Dame football game — though as a lifelong Cleveland Browns supporter, he’s learned the art of patience. He’s also a movie enthusiast who loves good film conversations, a fan of reality TV (especially when watching with Rene), and loves playing golf with friends — even if his short game still needs work.
